In the third chapter of a now consolidated creative dialogue, Cameron Webb and Matt Rosner reverse the plans of their research on environmental landscape design. Following in the physical and conceptual footsteps of the painter Arthur Boyd, who in the last century created a residence for artists on the south-eastern Australian coast, the two musicians did not limit themselves to working on the sounds captured in those places, but they built around a multifaceted ecosystem of guitar timbres and slowly dripping notes. Far from descriptive soundscaping, Deep Valley, instead offers a palette of naturalistic sensations.
