If Elkhorn’s music summons up wide open spaces, Rösner and Cameron’Seaworthy’ Webb have a more intimate, granular approach to capturing landscape. Deep Valley is a delicate negotiation between guitar, electronics and field recordings made at a coastal wildlife sanctuary in New South Wales. Fellow Australian Andrew Tuttle is a kindred spirit, but Seaworthy & Rosner are more abstracted, privileging birdsong as much as their own engrossing composition.
