Groove (DE)

The sound engineer, multi-instrumentalist and electronics engineer Giuseppe Ielasi from Milan acts internationally in terms of work and genre, mostly in a hybrid triangle of improvisation, composition and algorithms. For the mini-album The Prospect (12K, June 24), which is unusual even for a versatile musician like himself, he discovered the jazz musician in himself. Two lengthy pieces as a solo improvisation on e-guitar with a tube amp, nothing else. Typical is the slim minimalism, the space-loving and light and airy structure of the pieces, which are very free and experimental as well as harmonious and accessible.
