Giuseppe Ielasi, who appeared more as a studio man after his most recent album “Five Wooden Frames” (2020), will release his new long player at the end of the month. After the predecessor marked its return to the (this time acoustic) guitar, “The Prospect”, which contains two longer pieces, is primarily based on the use of the electric guitar, which, however, was less the starting point for extensive processing, e.g. using loop technology, but on two tracks in was recorded in a take and not subjected to any post-editing. “The Prospect” is available on CD and download at 12K.
